How Raleigh Elite Bathroom Remodeling Works

We are a referral service. Homeowners tell us about a bathroom project, and we pass it to a local contractor who contacts them for an estimate. Here's exactly what that means.

No cost and no obligation. Tell us about your project and a local contractor will reach out to talk it through.

Who we are

What we do, and what we don't

Raleigh Elite Bathroom Remodeling connects homeowners in Raleigh and nearby Triangle cities with local contractors for bathroom remodeling, tub to shower conversions, walk-in showers, bathtub replacement, vanity installation and bathroom design.

We are not a contractor. We don't employ installers, perform remodeling work, hold contractor licenses, or provide estimates ourselves. The contractor who contacts you is an independent business that sets its own prices, schedules, warranties and terms.

What we do is simple: make it easy to get your project in front of a contractor who does this kind of work in your area, and give you useful information about the work before you talk to anyone.

The process

How a request works

01

You send a request

Use the estimate form or call. Tell us your city, the project type, your timeline and what you have in mind.

02

We pass it to a contractor

We share your request with a local contractor serving your area, for the purpose of contacting you about your project.

03

The contractor contacts you

They talk through the project, arrange a visit and give you an estimate. Whether you hire them is your decision.

Before you hire

Questions to ask any contractor

Because the contractor is independent, it's your job to check them out before you sign. That's true whether you found them through us or anywhere else.

  • Are you licensed for this work? In North Carolina, projects of $40,000 or more require a licensed general contractor, and plumbing and electrical work must be done by contractors licensed by the state's plumbing and electrical boards.
  • Can you show proof of liability insurance and, if you have employees, workers' compensation?
  • Will you pull the permits this job needs, and who schedules inspections?
  • What's included in the written estimate, and how are changes priced?
  • What warranty do you offer on workmanship, and who backs the product warranties?

You can look up a general contractor's license with the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors.
